Every engraving system comes with a simple-to-use 7-page engraving manual.

If problems should arise, the quickest resolution is to consult your manual. It will answer most of the questions you may have.

Below are a few suggestions and solutions to some very common engravung problems:

 Why are letters missing at the beginning and end of the engraved product?

When entering text into the TEXT BOX region, be sure the text characters do not go outside of the TEXT BOX. Any characters extending beyond the TEXT BOX will not be engraved. Refer to the manual for "Changing the Size of Text".

 

 How can the engraver produce a bolder looking font?

Our KISS Engrave software installs three (3) specialized industry standard engraving fonts. A BOLDER looking font can be achieved by changing the PROPERTIES of the TEXT BOX and selecting any other font installed on your system. To avoid engraving an outlined letter, be sure to use the FILL option and enter a value between 0.004" and 0.001". The smaller the number will produce a better look but will take a bit longer to complete.
